These Ercol stunners were saved from landfill by the wonderful Sarah Moore for the BBC One TV show, Money For Nothing, and were brought to the Reloved Works studio for a colourful makeover by Simion.
Simion is a TV upholsterer, interior stylist, workshop host and teacher working from his studio in Greater Manchester.
You might recognise his face from the BBC One TV show, Money For Nothing, where Simion and the team rescue unwanted treasures from heading to landfill, bringing them back to life ready for their new homes. We were delighted when Simion approached up to collaborate on this project.
Although you wouldn’t believe it now, these chairs had been left outside in a garden for quite some time, so were in need of some serious TLC!
We were delighted to be asked to supply some of our super soft LisBON velvet fabric, as if by magic this project was completed just in time for Manchester Pride in 2019, which made for the perfect way to celebrate these joyous chairs.
